I couldn't help but post something about our dog Spartan who died a couple of months ago. Spartan did not understand the dangers of the road and got hit by a car in front of our house. No one can deny how loving Spartan was toward us. We are still getting used to him not being around and it's been especially hard for Praetorian. We miss him and hope he is resting peacefully now.Tuesday, April 6, 2010

I couldn't help but post something about our dog Spartan who died a couple of months ago. Spartan did not understand the dangers of the road and got hit by a car in front of our house. No one can deny how loving Spartan was toward us. We are still getting used to him not being around and it's been especially hard for Praetorian. We miss him and hope he is resting peacefully now.

I miss Spartan so much!! Sometimes he could be a pain, but oh how he could love!! He loved us all. It will not be the same visiting your house without Spartan being there. He would love to sneak in my room (Guest Room) and sleep on the bed with his head on my pillow. When I would come up the steps be would quick jump down and then look at me like "I didn't do anything", but then I would go into the room and my pillow would be warm where he would have had is head laying. I would sometimes catch him and sure enough he would be sleeping with his head on my pillow just like it was his. He was a good dog. I am so sorry he had to be so 'quick out the door'. He is missed and will always be loved by Grandma and Grandpa!!
