Farm Day

On Saturday, we took Praetorian to Farm Day at Lollypop Farm. This is the second year we've taken him, he absolutely loves it. He got to go on a tractor ride, see all of the animals, and get a dinosaur painted on his face. It was so funny when he was getting his face painted - he kept his eyes closed the entire time.

Officially Potty Trained

Praetorian is now officially potty trained. He started only about a week ago and is already trained. He made it through the entire weekend without one accident - including through the nights. We are so amazed and proud of how quickly he picked up on this. This just shows that it is better to wait until they are older and really ready to be trained. It's hard to believe in only a week he got trained. I have my Mom to thank for starting this and sticking with it - THANK YOU! She started one day the week before last and by the end of that week, she had him wearing regular underwear all day with only a couple of accidents here and there. I am so thankful that I will only have one child in diapers. :)

Dedicated to Spartan

I couldn't help but post something about our dog Spartan who died a couple of months ago. Spartan did not understand the dangers of the road and got hit by a car in front of our house. No one can deny how loving Spartan was toward us. We are still getting used to him not being around and it's been especially hard for Praetorian. We miss him and hope he is resting peacefully now.

Praetorian Update

Praetorian is quickly changing into a little boy and has proven that he will be a big helper once his baby sister is here. It seems like at least once a week he comes up with a new phrase. A while ago, he began telling us "you are my best friend". More recently, he says, "You know what? I love you." You have to imagine that he kind of sings the I love you part. While he is ALL boy, he also has that softer, sweet side to him that we all love. It's the perfect combination. :)

Christmas

Obviously, I am very far behind, but here are some pictures from Christmas. We decided to say in New York this year. We had a nice Christmas at home and then the Taylors' came for a visit a few days after Christmas. Praetorian was spoiled by everyone in the family. :)

Baby Girl

For those of you that don't know yet, I wanted to share the news that we are expecting a baby girl this summer. She is due June 28th, so I'm sure it will be more like July if she follows Praetorian's foot steps. So far, so good, we are thankful that everything has gone well and hope it continues that way.
